Eldean Shipyard began in 1901 as Jesiek Brothers Shipyard and has been providing Lake Michigan yachtsmen with first class service for more than 100 years.

Today, Eldean's is one of the oldest active marinas and boatyard facilities in the United States, and our goal is still the same: to provide our customers with first class service and resort style amenities. Boat slip rental, lodging and VRBO, transient slips and winter storage are all available at this one-of-a-kind Michigan marina.

Eldean Shipyard is the recipient of many awards, including the inaugural “Marina of the Year” from Marina and Dock Age Magazine, “Boat Dealer of the Year” from Boat and Motor Dealer, a “Building Design” award from American Buildings Company, and three Holland Area Beautiful Awards. Great Lakes Boating Magazine proclaims Eldean Shipyard one of the best sailing marinas in Michigan. Herb Eldean was inducted into the Michigan Boating Industry Hall of Fame in 1997 and honored with the MBIA's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022. Wade Eldean was awarded the Certified Marina Manager distinction in 2006. Eldean Shipyard is a certified Michigan Clean Marina.
