We offer one of the cleanest and secure winter storage facilities on the Great Lakes. Many of our winter storage customers travel the extra mile from Chicago, Milwaukee, Kenosha, Indiana, Lansing and Detroit for our exceptional facilities, competitive rates and peace of mind. Outdoor storage and indoor heated boat storage are both available. The shipyard is equipped with one 35 and one 75-ton open end Travelift and maintains a complete marine service department with 130,000 sq. ft. of heated inside winter storage.

Watch your boat launch from anywhere

Check out our Launch Cam. Whether you live nearby in Holland or you live in Illinois or Wisconsin, you can see your boat being launched or hauled out over the internet. You are still welcome to take the morning off work and watch in person — but if you're too busy that day, the Launch Cam is the next best thing.

Service while you wait for spring

Many services are available while your boat is in winter storage. You can have the bottom repainted, the hull waxed, the interior remodeled, or the deck stripped, sanded and revarnished. Our marine technicians have been working with us for many, many years — over 20 years in some cases. These folks really know what they are doing and take great pride in their work and craftsmanship. Do-it-yourselfers welcome

Owners are allowed to work on their own boats. Many boatyards no longer allow boat owners to work on their own boats. Here at Eldean's, as long as owners follow a few guidelines — some of them set forth by the Michigan Clean Marina Program — there is no problem with do-it-yourself repairs and maintenance.
